I think by now everyone knows my passion for shooting fresh 48s. They are hands down my favorite sessions. There is something about those first few days that you just can’t capture during an in-home newborn session. I also think those are the moments and feelings that are hard to remember as a parent, especially a first time parent. It is such a whirlwind of emotion squeezed into a short period of time that you feel sort of high yet so exhausted at the same time. I personally have never had a fresh 48 for any of my own babies and now that I shoot them, I deeply regret it. I know with this last baby that I need to hand over reigns to a professional to capture these moments for me so I can be in the moment with my last sweet baby.
