Sunset Family Session | St. Louis Lifestyle Photographer

There are some sessions that just make your heart happy as an artist, this session is that one for me. If you have been following me for any amount of time, then you know I love moments and emotion over perfection. I want my images to make you feel something! I totally understand how awkward and hard it is to be in front of the camera, I’m the WORST! So many of us let these fears get in the way of scheduling a family session or maybe simply letting go during a session. I really aim to make my session something a little different. I think most of my clients would agree that I try to keep things fun and light for everyone involved. My ideal family is one who truly wants images of their children and family genuinely laughing, smiling, snuggling, playing, and really being themselves. This may mean dancing and running through field or  maybe holding a bunch of wild flowers they just spent half of the session picking. Yes, we try to get the “perfect” family shot out of the way but trust me when I say that is not usually the favorite image from these types of sessions.
