In-Home Lifestyle Session | St. Louis Family Photographer

I am SUPER excited to share this in-home newborn  session. This session is a bit different from a lot of the newborn sessions I have shot but it is a direction I would love to start moving more into with my work. This session was approached with more of a documentary style and I couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out. I spent the morning with this family and let them spend their time doing normal stuff. They made pancakes, played games and snuggled on their new baby, with very little direction from me. It was exactly how I picture everyday life to be and I loved every moment. 

In-home sessions give families such a unique opportunity to truly be themselves. Your wardrobe and house do not need to look like a magazine cover to make images you will love. You just need the people you love, doing what you love to do. I’m happy this family took this opportunity to be themselves and allowed me to be there to capture all of these moments for them.
