Recently I spent a morning with one of the CUTEST 1 year olds around. We had a laid back in-home family session to celebrate Rush turning 1! It was the perfect way to capture what this sweet family enjoys doing together and to capture how much Rush has grown. In-home lifestyle family sessions are not only for newborns, like a lot of people believe. Lifestyle sessions are for all families, no matter the age of the kiddos. I know I say it again and again but these types of images are the ones you, as a parent and your children, will cherish years from now. I know as a mom, I personally want to remember all those unique and beautiful details of my children, along with those special activities that are unique to my family. 

After a year in business, I have been doing a lot of soul searching on where I want to take my business. I am slowly learning what makes me happy to shoot and what doesn’t. I have been feeling a strong pull towards more in-home and authentic family sessions but honestly haven’t pursued like I want to. It’s something that I truly love in my personal work and I believe clients will love if they give it a chance. Stay tuned for 2019, I have big plans brewing for more sessions like this!
