Motherhood is at the heart of my business. When I am shooting a family session , I find myself drawn to the mother-child bond. Sometimes that bond will be wild and crazy, other times delicate and quiet. Nonetheless, it is what my heart longs to capture. My job as your St. Louis family photographer is to simply capture that love you have for your children. Simple enough, right?

While shooting your family, I will look for details and moments during the session that make me feel something. I often think about what you as a mother may want to remember of your child. It could be as simple as the soft curls that your sweet baby has or the laughter that comes from your son when you all snuggle up close. I also love to use light and the elements of our environment to help enhance the emotion I see in front of my lens. Together, light and authentic emotion will create the images that we as mothers will always want to remember with our children.
