I spent a lovely Saturday morning with this new family of five. This lifestyle newborn session really represents why I love shooting this type of photography. When I arrived, the family was still getting everything together to get the session started. I took a quick tour of their adorable home to check out the lighting and such. There were so many cute little spots throughout their home that I simply loved.
I am so happy to be FINALLY blogging this in-home family lifestyle session. I spent a lovely morning with my sweet and extremely talented friend Felise, of Felise Waxman Photography. We both have such a love for lifestyle photography so I knew this session would be one of my favorites.
Lifestyle newborn sessions are some of my favorite sessions. No two sessions are a like! Some are quiet and calm, yet others are energetic and loud! Each family brings a unique vibe and style to their session and that’s what I LOVE! My job as your photographer is to capture YOUR family as they are, not to make you look like a pinterest perfect family.
From the moment that Lindsey contacted me for her twin girl newborn session, I was excited! Who doesn’t love twins? I remember bringing home my first baby boy and how long it took my husband and I to get into that parenting groove. That is why I am always in awe of twin parents! They seem to really get into that groove so much quicker. Lindsey and Mike were no different.
This baby girl rocked her 7 month milestone session. She was all smiles for most of our in home session! This age is so great to capture. They are still so young but have such a sweet personality and are changing so much. Plus, all those sweet baby rolls are the best!!! I am offering outdoor milestone minis starting in March. These will be 20 minute baby only sessions. Feel free to contact me for more details.
I spent the morning with this sweet family of 3 for an in-home maternity session. We were hoping for an outdoor session but with these frigid temperatures, we opted for indoors. I was secretly thrilled to be able to shoot at their home. I love seeing familes in their own element!! Plus, I think capturing those last days as a family of 3 in your own home is so priceless.
